My name is Martha Lewicka and I am an editorial, music and portrait photographer from Oslo, Norway. I have been working with photography since 1997, first as a hobby, then as staff photographer, finally opening my own company in 2008. I grew up in Poland, where I received an advertising animation degree in 2004 and where I was previously working in advertising.
I have a diverse photographic background, from abstract to photojournalism, and that diversity has become very prominent feature in my work. I continue to explore new fields of photography, as well as mastering new techniques.
I am originally Polish, but moved to Norway because as a little girl I had a dream to get kidnapped by a Viking. Now I live in Oslo, with my boyfriend (and he surely looks like a Viking) and our cat Freya.
When I am not taking pictures I appreciate different kinds of art, and philosophy of photography. I am a music addict and book mole. I am into concerts and festivals too. I try to travel whenever and wherever I can, because I still have many places to visit. If anyone needs photographer in Siberia, Caucasus, Alaska, Iceland or other cold places, I will go, with pleasure!
I work with both private and commercial customers mostly in Oslo and Akershus. I can also travel to any place in Norway and Europe. I mostly work with editorial, music and portrait photography, both in the studio and on location. I also photograph for advertising and fine art.
